Manual Lymphatic Technique Level I

 

Manual Lymphatic Technique is a technique that uses very light pressure/strokes delivered in specific sequences to stimulate lymphatic vessels and improve normal lymphatic uptake and flow to maintain normal fluid balance. Level I covers basic anatomy and physiology, a basic neck routine, nodes of the axilla, inguinal and deep abdominal regions, along with major abdominal sphincters.

Manual Lymphatic Technique Level II

 

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Technique Level II will build upon the theory and applications for Manual Lymphatic Drainage Technique Level I, expanding the student’s knowledge and understanding into the structure of the lymphatic system. This will allow an exploration of the superficial pathways and their relationship to the natural “watersheds” of the face and body.

Manual Lymphatic Technique Level III

 

Manual Lymphatic Technique III will delve into the deeper lymphatic pathways of the body. The class will focus on further developing palpation skills to “trace” the lymphatic flow, discern between “wet” and “dry” regions, as well as a more in depth discussion on lymphatic physiology. Additional MLD techniques will be learned to drain the muscles, thoracic trunk, spine, sacrum, head, and appendages. We will explore the role that the Lungs and Heart play in certain edemas and how to work with them to assist the persons overall health.

Class Policy

Class size: minimum 4 - maximum 16.

Cancellation and Refund: 100% refund issued if class is cancelled by instructor. If student withdraws 1 month or more - prior to class date, a 100% refund will be issued. Student will receive a 50% refund if withdrawing more than two weeks but less than one month prior to class date. Refunds will not be issued if withdrawal occurs less than two weeks prior to class date. If rescheduling or withdrawing fees may apply. Special exceptions made at the discretion of the instructor. Classes are not guaranteed and can be cancelled due to inclement weather, emergencies, class size, etc. Please contact us before making travel arrangements or accommodations.
